Powering the new MG ZS EV is a single permanent magnet synchronous motor capable of delivering 176.75PS and 280Nm of maximum torque. This motor draws charge from a 50.3kWh battery pack and can help the car do a 0-100kmph run in just 8.5 seconds.
As far as range is concerned, the new MG ZS EV is claimed to deliver up to 461km of range on a single charge.
In real-life conditions, the users report a range of around 380km on a single charge in mixed conditions with AC running. If driven with a light foot inside the city, the new ZS EV can also offer a range of up to 425km, as reported by the users.
Needless to say, the new MG ZS EV supports up to 50kW fast charging and can be charged from 0-80% in just 60 minutes using the 50kW DC charger. Charging the car with a 7.4kW charger from 0-100% will take around 8.5 to 9 hours.
