MG Motor India, a subsidiary of China’s SAIC Motor, has established itself as a pioneer in the electric vehicle (EV) segment in India and has been slowly gaining popularity in the market.
MG Motor India has sold over 4,572 units in the month of July 2024. The carmaker revealed that electric vehicles contribute over 35% of this month’s sales.
For monthly sales, Hector and Gloster are the only cars whose sales have increased as compared to June 2024, while ZS EV, Comet EV and Astor have reported fewer sales bringing down the number of total sales of July 2024 to 4,572 units as compared to 4644 units of June 2024.
The YoY sales of JSW MG Motor India decreased by 8.78%. In July 2024, the carmaker sold 4,572 units which is 440 units fewer than 5,012 units sold in the month of July 2023.
JSW MG Motor India provides a diverse portfolio like Gloster, Hector, Astor and electric vehicles like MG ZS EV and Comet EV.
JSW MG Motor India will continue to expand its new energy vehicle portfolio, with the launch of Windsor EV. It is worth mentioning that the Windsor EV is already on sale in other global markets under the Wuling brand named Cloud EV.
