The Cyberster is MG’s first (and only) electric roadster that is set to be launched in India in the coming weeks. We saw the Cyberster in the flesh at the recently held Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025.
JSW MG Motor India has created a 0-100 kmph record run at the Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan, clocking a time of 3.2 seconds.
The car was driven by Mira Erda for the record run, and the time was officiated by both Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.
The India-bound Cyberster is the more powerful dual-motor version that has a maximum power output of 510PS and 725Nm of torque. It gets a front double wishbone and a rear five-link independent suspension.
The Cyberster comes equipped with a 77kWh battery pack, which MG claims to be just 110mm thick. The battery pack is paired to the two oil-cooled electric motors that we spoke of in the previous slide. It has a WLTP claimed range of 443 kilometres.
The MG Cyberster India launch is expected to take place in March 2025. The expected MG Cyberster price in India stands at northwards of Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be the first MG car in India that will be sold via the new MG Select showrooms.
