Mercedes-Benz India expands its EV line-up with the launch of two new variants of its flagship electric EQS SUV.
The EQS 450 SUV has been launched in the 5-seater configuration at Rs 1.28 crore, standing Rs 13 lakh cheaper than the EQS 580 7-seater SUV.
The EQS 450 SUV shares its battery pack and motors with the 580, but the latter offers lower power output and as a result, offers 11km more range.
Along with the EQS 450, the 7-seater 580 SUV has also been launched, at Rs 1.41 crore ex-showroom, New Delhi. It shares its equipment and features list with the 450, albeit with more power but slightly lesser range.
Mercedes-Benz India will showcase the EQS SUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025 along with the G 580 with EQ Technology and the CLA Class concept.
