Mercedes-Benz India has announced a price hike of up to 3%, which will take effect soon.
The price hike from Mercedes-Benz India ranges from Rs 2 lakh for the GLC SUV to Rs 9 lakh for the flagship Maybach S 680.
Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that all current and future bookings, including those for out-of-stock models, will be protected from price hikes until December 31, 2024. This means there will be no price increase for vehicles booked within this period.
According to Mercedes, the upcoming price hike is being implemented due to increased commodity prices and higher logistics costs, which have been driven by persistent inflationary pressures. These factors have significantly strained Mercedes-Benz India's overall operational costs.
A recent report on Mercedes-Benz sales for October 2024 has revealed a slight increase in sales. The brand sold 1,792 units in October, showing growth compared to previous months.
A few days ago, on November 12th, Mercedes-Benz launched the C63 S E Performance, the final AMG model of the year, in India. The high-performance model is priced at Rs 1.95 crore (ex-showroom).
