After the recent announcement of six airbags in the Celerio, Alto K10 and Eeco, the Indian-Japanese carmaker has updated its best-selling model—the WagonR—with better safety features.
The updated Maruti Suzuki WagonR now comes with four additional airbags as standard above the driver and co-passenger airbags that were offered as standard. Furthermore, it also offers 3-point seatbelts for all passengers.
These two features join the list of other safety features such as electronic stability program, hill-hold assist and seatbelt reminders.
Thanks to the updated safety features, the Maruti WagonR now gets a price hike of Rs 14,000 across all variants.
Like before, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR comes with three engine options — 1.0-litre petrol, 1.0-litre petrol-CNG and 1.2-litre petrol. Except for the CNG, other engines also offer the choice of a 5-speed AMT.
