Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 1,92,984 vehicles in the month of March 2025, including both domestic and international sales.
The carmaker saw a 3.2% negative growth when compared to the figures from February 2025. It sold 6,416 vehicles less than what it did the month before. While exports grew, domestic sales took the net result to a negative figure.
Year-on-year growth stood at a positive 3.1%. While domestic sales fell by a slight margin, exports grew significantly, translating to a net increase of 5,788 additional units sold when compared to the same period last year.
Please note that the sales numbers stated above reflect the number of units dispatched to dealers and they might vary from the actual number of units sold by dealerships. Furthermore, these figures include the sales of passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles (Super Carry), and units sold to other OEMs (Toyota).
The Indian carmaker sold 1,50,743 Maruti-branded cars and SUVs in India, while it sold another 6,882 units to its partner — Toyota.
Maruti is expected to launch a few new cars in India over the next few months, notably the Maruti e Vitara, Maruti Grand Vitara 7-seater, and the Maruti Fronx Hybrid.
