A test mule of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Fronx hybrid was spotted in Gurgaon, Haryana without any camouflage.
What confirms it to be a hybrid is the “Hybrid” badging on the right side of the tail gate, standing it apart from the Smart Hybrid that’s already on offer with the Fronx.
The Fronx hybrid is said to offer a series-parallel strong hybrid powertrain with a claimed fuel efficiency of 35kmpl. It is said to target cost and fuel efficiency.
Apart from the Fronx, the series-parallel hybrid system is also said to make it way into models like the Baleno, Swift and Dzire in the near future.
Multiple media reports claim that the carmaker will introduce its new strong hybrid powertrain with the Fronx facelift, which is due for the year 2026.
Tweaked headlight and tail light clusters, new set of alloy wheels, revamped dashboard with new trim elements, new upholstery and a few new features are among the key changes that are likely to be offered with the upcoming Maruti Fronx facelift.
