The Maruti e Vitara is the carmaker’s first all-electric offering that is about to go on sale in the Indian market post its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025.
Ahead of its India launch, Maruti Suzuki put the e Vitara through a series of crashes to test its crash worthiness and structural integrity.
Since the model was crash tested internally, we do not have a conclusive rating from these tests. Expect Bharat NCAP to share the safety rating as and when the report is released.
The Maruti e Vitara has been engineered for the global markets and will be manufactured here in India. Hence, it is safe to assume that the e Vitara will come through the NCAP tests with flying colours.
The Maruti e Vitara comes packed with safety features such as 7 airbags, surround view camera, level-2 ADAS, electronic stability program and much more.
Maruti Suzuki has not committed an official launch timeline for the e Vitara. However, multiple market reports claim that the e Vitara market launch could take place in March 2025.
