Mahindra XUV400 EV Bharat NCAP rating announced

The Bharat NCAP crash test results for the Mahindra XUV400 EV are out, and it has earned a full 5-star rating in both Adult Occupant Protection and Child Occupant Protection.

Adult Occupant Protection

In the Adult Occupant Protection test, the Mahindra XUV400 EV achieved an impressive score of 30.38 out of 32.

Front & side barrier test scores

The XUV400 EV performed impressively in safety tests, scoring 14.38 out of 16 in the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test. It also achieved a perfect score of 16 out of 16 in the Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test, highlighting its strong crash safety performance.

Child Occupant Protection

The Mahindra XUV400 EV scored an impressive 43 out of 49 in the Child Occupant Protection tests. This final score comes from three separate tests: it earned a perfect 24 out of 24 in the Dynamic Test, 12 out of 12 for CRS Installation, and 7 out of 13 in the Vehicle Assessment.

Mahindra XUV400 EV standard safety features

The Mahindra XUV400 EV comes with standard features including dual airbags, all four disc brakes, panic braking signal, rear parking sensors, a passenger airbag deactivation switch, front seat belts with pre-tensioner and load limiter, seat belt reminder for the co-driver, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS, EBD, ESP, ESC, and more.

The higher EL Pro variant's safety features also include 6 airbags, Hill Hold Assist, and a reverse camera with adaptive guidelines.
