Mahindra is soon going to launch an electric version of its popular family SUV, the Mahindra XUV700. Dubbed as the XEV 9e, the SUV will see the light of the day later this month. A teaser of the same has just been put out by the automaker.
The Mahindra XEV 9e was earlier named as the Mahindra XUV.e8, and was often seen testing on Indian roads. A few interior and exterior details were also revealed to the public through these spy shots.
Mahindra has now released an official teaser of the XEV 9e, along with the BE 6e, both of which are set to make their global debut this month. The 9e also gets long bars of lights at both ends, along with flush door handles and newly designed alloy wheels.
Mahindra will be unveiling both these EVs at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on November 26, 2024. The unveiling shall take place at the Unlimit India event held by the brand.
The Mahindra XEV 9e, i.e., the electric Mahindra XUV700, has been slated for a launch in the early months of 2025, closely following the launch of the BE 6e electric SUV.
While Mahindra had just one electric vehicle on sale in India as of now, the XUV400, it has plans to roll out a lineup of electric SUVs in the upcoming months. These will comprise a mix of BEVs and repurposed versions of Mahindra’s ICE passenger vehicles.
