The Vision T is one of the four new Mahindra concept SUVs revealed at this year’s Independence Day, and here are five things to know about it.
The Vision T is based on Mahindra’s new NU_IQ platform that supports ICE, electric, and hybrid powertrains, with capability of accommodating both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.
The Vision T looks a lot familiar to the Mahindra Thar.e concept, albeit with a segmented six slat front grille. It gets off-road tyres, Thar Roxx-like C-pillar design, and exposed tow hooks.
The interior features a similar steering wheel to that of the Vision S, octagonal AC vents, a large portrait-oriented touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, and A and B-pillar mounted grab handles.
Multiple hints like the T suffix, the six slat grille, and the rear quarter panel design make it obvious that the Vision T will be a product to join the Mahindra Thar lineup of SUVs.
The SUV is expected to be launched sometime in 2027-28, and the exact launch date is yet to be revealed by the carmaker. It is likely to follow the Vision S India launch.
