Mahindra Thar ROXX Price and waiting period

Ahead of the official bookings scheduled to commence on October 3, 2024, the waiting period for the Thar Roxx has already reached up to three months. The Mahindra Thar ROXX price starts from Rs 12.99 lakh for petrol variants and goes up to Rs 19.99 lakh, while for the diesel variants, the base price starts from Rs 13.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 22.49 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Waiting period of up to 2 months in certain cities

Dealerships across Delhi and Bengaluru have reported a waiting period of two months for the Thar Roxx, while waiting period at Mumbai ranges from 1.5 to 2 months.

Up to 3 months waiting period in certain cities

While Delhi and Mumbai have reported a shorter waiting period, cities like Chennai, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad have waiting periods extending up to three months for the new Thar Roxx SUV.

Unofficial bookings open

Before commencement of the official booking, unofficial bookings for the 2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx have already started at select dealerships, with a token amount of Rs 21,000. The same has been confirmed by our dealer sources.

Delivery timeline

Deliveries for the Thar Roxx are set to begin around Dussehra, near October 12, 2024. The exact delivery timeline may vary depending on the variant, powertrain, colour and other factors.

Test drives have already begun

Mahindra Thar Roxx test drives have already begun from September 14, 2024. Customers considering to buy the Thar Roxx can visit their nearest dealership and test drive the new Thar Roxx SUV.

What's under the hood

The Mahindra Thar Roxx comes equipped with a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both engines come with a standard 6-speed manual gearbox, with a 6-speed automatic gearbox available as an option. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard, while select diesel variants get an option for a four-wheel drive (4WD) system.
