The Sierra is one of the most anticipated new electric cars in India planned to be launched this year. The Sierra aims to revive the iconic nameplate in a new avatar.
Ahead of the Tata Sierra India launch, leaked images of design patents of the SUV’s interior have been surfacing online, suggesting that the actual SUV won’t look too different from the concept versions showcased in the past.
As seen in the images, the Tata Sierra EV interior will get the familiar steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo, an octagonal housing for the digital driver’s display, a large touchscreen infotainment system, and a large centre armrest, along with two closed storage spaces.
With reference to concept versions and spy shots, the upcoming Tata Sierra SUV will get a familiar greenhouse design that was seen on the original model. It will feature slim DRLs, connected rear lights, and a rear spoiler, complementing an overall boxy styling.
The Tata Sierra EV launch in India will take place by the end of this year, near to the launch of the ICE versions of the SUV. It is yet to be confirmed as to which version shall be launched first.
The upcoming electric SUV in India is expected to be priced northwards of Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it above the Tata Curvv EV.
