When compared to the data from August 2024, Tata Motors saw a stagnant growth with 71,345 units sold in September against 71,693 units in August. Domestic sales fell short by 312 units while exports fell by 36 units.
A massive 15.5% negative growth was seen from the same period last year with Tata selling 13,036 less cars and SUVs. It sold 71,345 units this September against 84,381 sold in September 2023.
Domestic passenger vehicle sales fell by 15% from September last year while exports declined by 51%. Speaking about EVs per se, a negative growth of 23% was observed.
Commercial vehicle sales also took a hit last month with all segments witnessing declining sales. An overall 23% decline was seen factoring in domestic as well as international sales.
