Kia India has revealed the all new Syros in India, disclosing a few details about this new SUV. While the Syros sits between the Sonet and the Seltos, it gets a lot of distinctive elements to make it stand apart from them. Here are the details about the bookings and delivery timeline for the Syros.
Kia will start accepting official bookings for the Syros from January 3, 2025, as stated at the unveiling event. Some dealerships might start accepting unofficial bookings prior to that, which is usually the case for many new cars launched in India.
As stated by the carmaker, the deliveries of their new SUV will begin from February 2025. Exact delivery time shall depend on a combination of factors including the variant chosen, colour option, and the dealership opted for.
Kia has not yet disclosed the price for the Syros SUV in India, and we expect them to do the same at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo that is scheduled to happen from 17-22 January 2025.
The Syros is being offered with the options for a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AT. Both these engines are the same ones that also do duty on the Sonet, and are offered in the same state of tune on the Syros.
Apart from the Syros, Kia is also likely to launch at least a couple of more cars in India in the coming months including a facelift of the electric Kia EV6, and the new Kia Carens EV. We expect the former to be showcased at the Auto Expo too, alongside the new Syros.
