As Ford is planning a comeback to the Indian market, the strongest contender is the Ford Everest, which was earlier known as the Endeavour. The Everest has been spotted on Indian roads multiple times, strongly hinting at an imminent launch.
The Ford Everest gets an aggressive design that is shared with the Ranger pick-up. Its key design elements include a large radiator grille and C-shaped LED DRLs along with all LED headlights.
Around the back, the Ford Everest features the connected LED lighting setup, which is seen in nearly every other SUV today. The Everest looks a lot more rugged from the rear over the Endeavour that was more rounded.
The interior of the Ford Everest is all-new and features a gigantic vertically-stacked infotainment system measuring 12-inch in size.
The new Ford Everest boasts features such as a digital instrument cluster, 360-degree parking camera, advanced driving assistance systems and more.
Globally, Ford offers a range of petrol and diesel engine options with the Everest. The India-bound model is likely to come with the twin-turbocharged diesel engine mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
