The Enyaq is one of Skoda’s most popular SUVs globally, and is offered in two body styles, two configurations, and with the option of three battery pack sizes. It sits on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform that also underpins other VW Group’s EVs like the VW ID.4, and Audi Q4 e-tron.
Skoda has released a few sketches showing the design of the updated Skoda Enyaq SUV, which is expected to arrive in the next few months. The new Skoda Enyaq will get significant styling changes, and is also expected to get feature updates, but the powertrain options are likely to remain the same.
The talking point of the upcoming Skoda Enyaq is Skoda’s new Modern Solid design language, which we first saw come to life on the 2024 Skoda Kylaq. The new design language follows the approach of minimalism, and the same is set to be featured on the new Enyaq.
The Skoda Enyaq is also slated for an India launch, and the same is expected to happen sometime in 2025. Skoda might bring the new model to India via the CBU route, though we are yet to hear from the carmaker about their plans.
There are a slew of electric SUVs that are expected to be launched in India in the near future. To name a few, there’s the Skoda Enyaq, Volkswagen ID.4, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Harrier EV, Tata Sierra EV, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, and Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ technology.
