Hyundai Motors India Limited, a subsidiary of South Korean Hyundai Motor Company, is known for its diverse lineup of vehicles. In 2024, over 60% of its domestic sales originated from SUVs, reinforcing its position as a leader in the SUV segment.
Hyundai Motor India’s July 2024 sales stood at a total of 64,563 units, with Hyundai Creta and Venue leading the pack, with more than 26,000 units sold in July 2024.
Hyundai’s year-to-date sales registered a 4.3% growth by selling 4,50,335 units from January to July 2024, 17,350 units more than last year.
Hyundai sold 49,013 units in July 2024, which was fewer than the sales of June 2024, which stood at 50,013 units. Only four models — Creta, Tucson, Aura and Ioniq — registered growth in sales in July 2024.
Hyundai sold a total of 64,563 units in July 2024, which was a 3.2% decline in sales from the 66,701 units that Hyundai sold in July 2023.
As talked about earlier, Hyundai Motors sold a total of 49,013 units in July 2024, which is nearly a 3.3% fall when compared to the sales of July 2023, which was 50,701 units. Likewise, international dispatches by Hyundai in July 2024 of 15,550 units also declined from 16,000 units in July 2023.
SUVs contributed to 66% of Hyundai’s domestic sales in 2024. The facelifted Hyundai Creta achieved record monthly sales of 17,350 units in July, contributing significantly to the brand's overall performance. Hyundai Venue holds the second position, with 8,840 units sold.
