The Hyundai Ioniq 9 EV has been revealed at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The Ioniq 9 is built on Hyundai's new-generation E-GMP platform, which also supports models like the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6.
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 exterior highlights include dot-style designs in the LED DRLs, LED headlights, and connected LED taillights. It also features silver skid plates at the front and rear underbelly, and 19-inch alloy wheels, with optional 20-inch and 21-inch wheels available.
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 dimensions measure 5,060mm in length, 1,980mm in width, 1,790mm in height, and a 3,130mm wheelbase. The Ioniq 9 boot space has a capacity of 1,323 litres when the third-row seats are folded.
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 interior features a clean, sleek dashboard and offers both 6- and 7-seater configurations. Key features include twin 12-inch panoramic curved displays, 8 speakers, ventilated seats, wireless charger, three-spoke steering wheel, smart cruise control, and more.
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 safety features include 10 airbags, TPMS, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, an ADAS suite, and more.
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 battery comes with a 110.3 kWh capacity. When paired with a single motor, it delivers 217PS and 350NM, while the dual motor produces 312PS and 650NM. It offers a range of up to 620 km.
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 India launch is expected to take place later this year. However, it will first debut in international markets, including South Korea and the United States, in mid-2025.
