While the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is offered with Rs 4 lakh discount, the facelifted avatar is on its way and a new leak reveals the Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift launch timeline.
On the exterior design front, the Ioniq 5 facelift brings a refreshed V-shaped grille up front, a longer roof spoiler, a new set of alloy wheels and reworked front and rear bumpers. There is also a new N Line trim on offer in global markets.
On the inside, the dashboard has been reconfigured to boost ease of use and overall practicality. Furthermore, a few physical controls have been added to the centre console responsible for features such as heated and cooled seats and heated steering wheel.
On the features front, the new Ioniq 5 gets better safety thanks to the enhanced ADAS suite along with remote parking capabilities.
Reports suggest Hyundai will continue with the same 72.6kWh battery pack as the outgoing model, in order to keep the costs in check. Globally, the Ioniq 5 now also gets a bigger 84kWh battery pack.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift launch in India is said to take place around August/September 2025. Once launched, the updated Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift will rival the BMW iX1, BYD Sealion 7 and the Kia EV6.
