Hyundai Inster is the electric variant of the existing Hyundai Casper, so naturally they share a lot of design elements. Headlights and tail-lights are revamped along with the LED DRLs, the alloys and the rear door gets C-pillar mounted handles.
Inside, expect similar space as the Casper in both rows. The Inster however is likely to get a fresh dashboard layout with a dual-tone scheme, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and a second digital screen for the instrument console.
Hyundai Inster comes with all the modern features one would expect. These include a 360-degree camera, Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like cruise control, lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking. Other features usually not found in this segment include ambient lighting, heated seats and steering wheels, wireless phone charger etc.
Hyundai Inster will have two powertrain options options 42kWh and 49kWh which produces 95.6hp of power and 147Nm of torque and 113.4hp power with 147Nm of torque respectively. The Hyundai Inster range is claimed to be up to 355km, depending on the variant you opt for.
While the release of Hyundai Inster in India has not been confirmed yet, but if it does, Hyundai Inster is expected to cost around Rs 12-13 Lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
