The Hyundai Inster Cross is the more off-road-focussed version of Hyundai’s smallest electric crossover — the Inster. It boasts a couple of visual enhancements inside and out.
The exterior design changes of the Hyundai Inster Cross include details such as rugged front and rear bumpers, skid plates, 17-inch machined alloy wheels, black cladding all around, roof racks and an optional roof storage compartment.
On the inside, the Inster Cross offers a unique colour combination, which includes grey fabric with lime green inserts. The lime green inserts are also offered on the dashboard and other trim elements.
With the Inster Cross, Hyundai is also offering a new exclusive exterior paint named Amazonas Green Matte. It is also available in five other exterior colour options including dual-tone finishes.
On a single charge, the Inster Cross is capable of covering over 360 kilometres. Once depleted, the battery can be replenished from 10 to 80% in under 30 minutes. Coming to the motor specifications, it comes with a 115PS electric motor that also provides 147Nm of torque.
While it’s not official, the Inster Cross could be one of four electric vehicles that Hyundai has planned for India launch in the coming years. It could rival the MG Comet EV, Tata Tiago EV as well as upcoming EV hatchbacks from Nissan and Renault.
