Hyundai Motor India Limited announced that the i10 brand, which includes the i10, Grand i10, and Grand i10 NIOS, has crossed 2 million cumulative sales in the Indian market.
Globally, Hyundai managed to sell over 1.3 million units of the i10, all of which were exported from India. The i10’s domestic and global sales cross 3.3 million units since first launch.
Top export destinations for the i10 brand include South Africa, Mexico, Chile, and Peru. The i10 is exported to 140+ countries around the world from India and boasts close to 91.4% localisation in its latest avatar.
As per Hyundai, in FY 24-25, over 45% of Grand i10 NIOS customers were first-time car buyers whereas Over 83% of customers were married. Top domestic markets for the i10 brand include Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Haryana.
Launched in 2007, the i10 brand has evolved through three generations — i10, Grand i10 and Grand i10 Nios. The current Grand i10 Nios comes in three powertrain choices — petrol manual, petrol AMT and CNG.
