Hyundai India has commenced bookings for the Alcazar facelift, its premium SUV, ahead of its scheduled launch on September 9, 2024. The Alcazar facelift boasts a distinctive and unique design, setting it apart from the Creta and giving it a refreshed look.
Hyundai India has unveiled the first images of the Alcazar facelift, showcasing significant exterior updates. The front features a connected LED light bar and a unique H-shaped design for the DRLs, complemented by a new grille and vertically stacked quad LED headlights.
The Alcazar facelift also sports a dual-tone finish for its 18-inch alloy wheels and sturdier roof rails. At the rear, pictures show a connected LED light bar with vertically stacked LEDs.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift is expected to continue with the same powertrains: A 1.5-litre diesel CRDi and a 1.5-litre petrol turbocharged GDi engine.
Along with the standard 6-speed manual gearbox, the petrol engine will also offer a 7-speed DCT automatic, while the diesel engine will come with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Although there is no information on this front, the Hyundai Alcazar will likely offer features such as ventilated front seats, a digital instrument cluster, a wireless smartphone charger, a panoramic sunroof, an auto-healthy air purifier and more, just like the current model.
The updated 3-row family car in the premium SUV segment will continue to rival other SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra Scorpio N, Tata Safari and Toyota Innova Crysta.
