After the initial launch of a seven-seater version of Creta in 2021, the much-awaited facelifted version of the Hyundai Alcazar will be launched in India on September 9, 2024.
As per the spy shots, the new Alcazar facelift will carry over the changes made to the Creta facelift. Block-like LED DRLs, vertical LED headlights, a rugged front grille, new dual-tone alloy wheels and connected LED tail lights are some of the examples.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift is expected to continue with the same powertrains: A 1.5-litre diesel CRDi and a 1.5-litre petrol turbocharged GDi engine.
Along with the standard 6-speed manual gearbox, the petrol engine will also offer a 7-speed DCT automatic, while the diesel engine will come with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
This premium SUV by Hyundai offers features such as ventilated front seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a wireless smartphone charger, a panoramic sunroof, an auto-healthy air purifier and more.
In addition to the safety features of the current Alcazar, the new Hyundai Alcazar facelift will offer level-2 ADAS features and a connected screen setup for the instrument cluster.
The updated 3-row family car in the premium SUV segment will continue to rival other SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra Scorpio N, Tata Safari and Toyota Innova Crysta.
