Kia Carens is the South Korean automaker’s MPV that sits between other similar cars such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Toyota Innova Hycross.
There has been a lot of chatter about a facelifted version of the Carens about to be launched in India, and a few new media reports have emerged confirming its launch timeline.
The Kia Carens facelift 2025 launch in India is likely to take place by August this year. It is likely that the initial units will be restricted to private buyers.
As seen in spy shots, the facelifted Kia Carens is expected to get sharper headlamps and a connected lightbar at the rear. The side profile isn’t expected to see much change, leave for a new alloy wheel design.
The interior is also likely to see a tweaked layout. Expected Kia Carens facelift features include an ADAS suite, 360-degree cameras, rear ventilated seats, and more.
The updated Kia Carens is expected to command a premium of a few thousand rupees over the outgoing model, starting at around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Following the new Kia Carens India launch, Kia India is also likely to launch the Kia Carens EV, which has also been spied on multiple occasions. Our sources tell us that the same will be launched in this calendar year.
