The Brezza is Maruti’s contender for the competitive sub-compact SUV segment that comprises rival cars like the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
The first generation of the Brezza was launched in India back in 2016, which was eight years from now. It did undergo an update in 2022 with a few design changes, feature additions, and an updated engine.
We expect Maruti Suzuki to give the Brezza a much needed facelift by next year, given the fact that it has started feeling dated when standing among its rivals like the Kia Sonet and the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
The current model, though wearing a clean design, looks a bit old-fashioned due to the boxy silhouette and dated lights. The new Brezza is expected to feature curvier lines and panels, along with trending connected headlamps and rear lights, paired with redesigned bumpers.
The Brezza is already loaded with many features, but there’s always room for some more (unless you’re in a Hyundai). We expect the upcoming Maruti Brezza facelift to get ventilated seats on the higher-spec variants, as well as a new interior theme.
The Brezza got an updated K-Series engine in 2022, and it is likely to be carried over to the facelift. Both automatic and manual transmissions shall be offered, and the CNG option will also continue. What do you expect to see on the new Brezza?
