An attractive starting price and an innovative battery rental scheme has brought huge interest for the Windsor EV. So much so that the Windsor EV now contributes close to 50% of MG Motor India’s total sales.
If we take a quick look at MG Motor India’s December 2024 sales, the carmaker sold 7,516 units, out of which 3,785 units were of the Windsor EV, contributing over 50% to total sales.
The trend continues to the Q3 of 2024 sales as well. Out of the 20,580 units that MG Motor India sold, 10,045 units were of the Windsor EV, contributing around 49% to total sales.
While close to 50% of sales are from the new Windsor EV, MG Motor India’s entire EV portfolio, which currently includes models such as the Windsor EV, Comet EV and ZS EV, contribute to 70% of its total sales.
The MG Windsor EV comes equipped with a 38 kWh battery, delivering an impressive 136 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It boasts a range of 332 km on a single charge.
