Five cars we want in India

The Indian automotive landscape is flooded with new cars—everything from homegrown superheroes to global icons. However, here are the five cars that we would love to see rolling down the Indian roads.

Honda Passport

The Passport is Honda’s most rugged SUV yet and goes against the likes of the Jeep Grand Cherokee globally. Its rugged styling and off-road capabilities will surely help finding buyers in the Indian market.

Honda Civic

The Honda Civic is one of the most sought after sedans in India and we could not stop mesmerising over the latest Civic, that brings in the Accord-inspired design and premium interior.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 N

We already have the Hyundai Ioniq 5 but adding the moniker N changes the game altogether. This electric hot hatch puts out close to 600PS and mimics the feel of a paddle-shift autobox.

Kia Sorento

While we have heard plenty of rumours about the Sorento, its India launch is still not confirmed. The Sorento is Kia’s mid-sized family SUV that comes with loads of features and an AWD drivetrain.

Volkswagen Jetta/Passat

With the arrival of the Octavia and Superb, we would like to see their Volkswagen equivalents too, given that these monikers are already popular since the previous generations of these cars were on sale in India.
