Four years after its initial launch in India, the Volkswagen Taigun SUV is up for a facelift. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
The updated Volkswagen Taigun is expected to come with additional features such as a panoramic sunroof, height adjustment for the co-driver’s seat, tweeters in the second row, and more.
In addition to comfort and convenience features, the new Taigun is also likely to add more safety features such as 360-degree cameras, and ADAS functionalities.
While we do not expect a drastic change on the outside, the updated car might get new headlights, tail lights, and redesigned bumpers. The interior layout might also feature slight tweaks and new colour themes.
The same set of powertrain options is likely to be carried over. This includes a 1.0-litre TSI engine paired to a manual or a torque convertor, and a 1.5-litre TSI engine paired to a manual or a DCT.
As confirmed by Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen India, the 2025 VW Taigun facelift will be launched by the end of 2025, and is expected to carry a premium of a few thousand rupees over the outgoing model.
