Latin NCAP has revealed the crash test rating for the Citroen Aircross, with the model scoring zero stars. Notably, this tested version is the Brazil-spec model, not the Indian version.
The Citroen Aircross scored 13.20 points in Adult Occupant Protection during the Latin NCAP test. This includes 9.83 points out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test, 7.37 points out of 8 in the side movable deformable barrier test, and 0 points out of 3 in the whiplash rear impact assessment.
On child occupant protection, the Citroen Aircross scored poorly. In the dynamic test, it received 0 out of 24 points. For CRS installation, it scored 3.57 out of 12, and the vehicle assessment score was 2 out of 13. The total score stands at just 5.57 out of 49 points.

The Citroen Aircross scored only 15 points (34.88%) in safety assist, meeting the requirement for ESC to be standard across all versions. However, features like LWD, LKA, blind spot detection, and road edge detection were missing, so tests for these features were not conducted.
According to the Latin NCAP report, the Citroen Aircross lacks key safety features, including six standard airbags, a standard speed assistance or speed limitation system, passenger airbag disconnection, and SBR as standard.
The 2024 Citroen Aircross in India comes with standard safety features, including six airbags, Hill Hold, TPMS, ABS with EBD, ESP, front seatbelt pre-tensioners with load limiters, seatbelt reminders for all seats, high-speed alert system, ISOFIX seat anchorages, and reverse parking sensors.
