If you haven’t been living under a rock, you must have seen images or read about the Cybertruck on the web. There’s some interesting but concerning news floating about the same.
NHTSA has directed Tesla to recall potentially 46,096 units of the Cybertruck, which account close to all units sold in the States.
The recall has been made due to a potential dislodgement of exterior panels while driving due to faulty adhesive used (turns out the Cybertruck is really a spaceship!).
This is not the first time that Tesla has had to recall the Cybertruck. There have been recalls in the past due to various issues like faulty wipers and issues with the accelerator pedal.
Tesla has issued a total of eight recalls for the Cybertruck pickup since its launch back in 2023.
Amidst all this news, Tesla is gearing up for an India launch that is soon going to take place. The carmaker has started the process of hiring people in India, getting its cars homologated, and exploring sites for dealerships.
