Kia currently sells seven cars in India — Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Kia Seltos, Kia Carens, Kia EV6, Kia Carnival, and Kia EV9.
Kia increased prices by up to 2% across its model range earlier this year amidst the industry-wide trend of rising prices due to the generally-cited issues of rising input costs and supply chain issues.
The carmaker has announced another price hike this year, which will come into effect from April 1, 2025. Prices will be increased across the model range by up to 3%.
It is not just Kia that is increasing the prices for its cars and SUVs in India, but the behavior is seen across other carmakers too such as Tata and Maruti Suzuki. More companies are likely to follow suit.
Kia India has a few new cars lined up for India launches this year, particularly the Kia Carens facelift, Kia Carens EV, and the Kia EV6 facelift.
