Kia India has unveiled its all new car — Kia Syros — revealing key details about this upcoming SUV in India. While Kia has not yet disclosed the price at which it will sell the Syros, it has told us about the features that it will get, along with other details like its dimensions, design, and interior layout. Here are the top 5 features that the Kia Syros gets over its rivals.
A set of features that have been, till now, unheard of in the sub-compact segment, the upcoming Kia Syros gets reclining as well as sliding rear seats. Moreover, these get a 60:40 split function, enabling them to be adjusted independently.
While ventilated seats at the front are becoming quite commonly available on higher-spec variants of compact cars and SUVs these days, the Syros gets them at the rear, too. There’s a catch though. The ventilation function for the second row seats is limited to their base and not the seat backs.
This one’s not a comfort or convenience feature and rather a styling touch (aerodynamic too, but okay). The Kia Syros gets flush door handles that are seen on cars like the Mahindra XUV 700 and the Range Rover Velar.
While we’re not particularly happy with this feature, the Syros gets HVAC controls that are controlled via a 5-inch touch-based panel. It is a first-in-segment feature, and we’ll prefer that it remains that way. There seem to be some physical buttons too though, for basic controls. We'll be able to give you a better view on the same when we drive the car.
The Syros gets a 30-inch panoramic display that comprises two 12.3-inch screens — one for infotainment and the other for instrumentation. This set of screens is the largest available in the segment as of now.
