Hyundai Motor Corporation has taken the wraps off the upcoming new generation Hyundai Palisade full-size SUV ahead of its global launch set to take place sometime in 2025. While detailed specifications of this upcoming SUV haven’t been released yet, here’s what we know so far.
The new Palisade looks nothing like the outgoing model, featuring a boxy body, multiple horizontally-stacked light bars at the front and rear, and a sharper front grille. The rear lights resemble the shape of the ones seen on popular Range Rover SUVs.
Whatever Hyundai Palisade images that Hyundai has released show that the interior of this upcoming full-size SUV features a plush cabin with the entire dashboard wrapped up in leather/leatherette. Unlike the exterior, the surfaces on the inside are curvy, including the dashboard panels and the chunky front centre armrest. The steering wheel looks Range Roverish too.
Hyundai hasn’t revealed much about the feature list of the upcoming Palisade either, but the pictures suggest that it will get a twin-screen setup on the dashboard, ambient lighting, lots of C-type ports, multi-zone climate control, a premium sound system, and more. Other expected features include an ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable seats, and more.
While the current generation of the Palisade is offered with conventional internal combustion engines, the upcoming generation is expected to come with the options for hybrid powertrain(s). Exact specifications remain to be revealed by the carmaker.
There has been no communication regarding any plans to launch the Palisade SUV in India, yet. But, Hyundai will be bringing in hybrid cars to India, and the Palisade might also be under consideration. Stay tuned to CARS24 Autoverse for updates!
