The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq and the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line both feature the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq will be available in two variants, Sportline and L&K, while the Tiguan R-Line will be offered in India through the CBU route and in a single variant only.
As per ARAI, the 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line mileage is officially claimed to be 12.58 kmpl.
The 2025 second-gen Skoda Kodiaq is claimed to have a mileage of 14.86 kmpl, which is 2.28 kmpl higher than the ARAI mileage of the VW Tiguan R Line.
The older, second-gen VW Tiguan is claimed to offer a mileage of 12.61 kmpl, which is 0.3 kmpl higher than the mileage of the new VW Tiguan N Line. On the other hand, the first-gen Skoda Kodiaq has a claimed mileage of 13.32 kmpl, which is slightly lower by 1.54 kmpl compared to the new third-gen Skoda Kodiaq.
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq and VW Tiguan R-Line both come with the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, producing 204 peak power and 320NM of torque. They are paired with the same 7-speed DCT gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system.
The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line price is set at Rs 48,99,900 (ex-showroom). As for the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq price in India, it is expected to be launched on 17th April, with a price expected to start above Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).
