The 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line is set to launch in India on April 14, 2025. This upcoming model is the sportier version of the Tiguan and is built on the MQB Evo platform.
The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line will come equipped with features including 30-color ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, front seats with a massage function, adjustable lumbar support for the front seats, dual wireless smartphone chargers, park assist, ADAS suite, and more.
Additionally, the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line will likely come with features such as a 12.9-inch freestanding touchscreen unit, digital driver display, sunroof, front & rear parking sensors, six airbags, electronic stability control, TPMS, ABS, and more.
Under the hood, the VW Tiguan R-Line will be equipped with a 2.0L four-cylinder TSI petrol engine. It will come paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and VW's 4Motion AWD system.
The VW Tiguan R-Line price in India is expected to be above Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with rivals like the Volvo XC40, BMW X1, Audi Q3, and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
Bookings for the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line have also started in India. This model will be brought to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
