Tata Motors has confirmed plans to introduce the second facelift for its Tata Tigor compact sedan during a recent investor meeting. The facelifted Tigor is expected to be launched next year, in 2025.
The upcoming Tata Tigor facelift is likely to receive updates to its front and rear sections, including sharper headlamps, a new grille, minor modifications around the bonnet, revamped taillights, and a refreshed rear section with subtle new creases.
The Tata Tigor facelift interior is expected to feature a slightly redesigned cabin. Along with this, several feature upgrades are anticipated, including a larger infotainment system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, semi-digital cluster, 8 speakers, single pane sunroof, rear AC vents, wireless charger, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, & more.
The 2024 Tata Tigor facelift safety features are expected to include 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, TPMS, EBD, corner stability control, rear cameras, day/night IRVM, parking sensors, hill hold assist, and more.
The upcoming Tata Tigor facelift is expected to feature the same 1.2-litre N/A petrol engine, producing 86PS and 113Nm of torque. It is also likely to offer the familiar iCNG powertrain, generating 73.5PS and 95Nm of torque. Both engine options will come with a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The current Tata Tigor is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9.40 lakh. The upcoming Tigor facelift is expected to be priced slightly higher. It will continue to compete with rivals like the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and others.
