Tata Motors is ready to bring back one of its most iconic cars in India — Tata Sierra — in a brand-new avatar. The upcoming Sierra SUV has been displayed at multiple auto shows in the past.
A heavily camouflaged test mule of the Tata Sierra SUV has been spotted testing for the first time on public roads. The test mule seemed to be an ICE version as it had an exposed air intake at the front.
The new Sierra mimics some of the iconic styling features of the OG Sierra, such as its greenhouse design. Other key elements include slim LED DRLs, a sleek connected light bar at the rear, and a spoiler.
While we haven’t seen any spy shots of the interior yet, what we know from previous concept showcases is that the SUV will be offered in four and five seater options, with the four-seater having a lounge-like arrangement at the rear.
Some of the expected Tata Sierra features include a panoramic sunroof, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, an ADAS suite, 360-degree cameras, LED lights, and more.
As stated by the Indian carmaker in one of its financial meetings recently, the Tata Sierra EV India launch will take place by the end of 2025, followed by the launch of Tata Sierra petrol and Tata Sierra diesel variants.
