Czech carmaker Skoda has given a model year update to its only sedan in India — Skoda Slavia — with the mid-level variant now getting more features for a lesser price. It’s a win-win, we would say!
The Skoda Slavia Signature variant now gets added features such as LED headlamps with DRLs, rain-sensing wipers, sunroof, and auto-dimming IRVM, which were previously restricted to higher-spec Skoda Slavia variants in India.
Prices for all variants have been reduced from Rs 35,000 to Rs 45,000, depending on the variant opted for. A detailed price list is given in the table above.
The Slavia comes with three powertrain options — a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic, and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that can be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
There have been no styling changes made to the car for the 2025 model year. The only noticeable changes are the feature editions, that too have been made on just one specific trim.
Skoda has active plans to expand its portfolio in India, with the new Skoda Kylaq being recently launched, and an array of global-spec models lined up for the coming months including the second generation Skoda Kodiaq, new Skoda Superb, new Skoda Octavia, and the Skoda Octavia RS.
