Maruti Suzuki recently launched the updated Grand Vitara in the Indian market, bringing in new features and small cosmetic updates. However, the carmaker silently withdrew the CNG powertrain option from the update.
The new Grand Vitara CNG will come with enhanced safety. The biggest change in the Maruti Grand Vitara safety features will be the inclusion of six airbags and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers as a standard fitment across all variants.
The updated Maruti Grand Vitara CNG will continue to come in two variants — Delta and Zeta. We do not expect any big changes in terms of features and powertrain of the Grand Vitara CNG.
Furthermore, as part of the update, the new Grand Vitara CNG will no longer come with a spare wheel but puncture repair kit—our sources confirmed.
