Hyundai Tucson is Hyundai’s flagship SUV in India, which is offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine, producing 186PS of power and 416Nm of torque, and a 2.0-litre petrol engine, producing 156PS of power and 192Nm of torque. The diesel-powered Tucson is also offered with a 4WD system.
Hyundai has launched the 2025 Hyundai Tucson Facelift in the United States, with a host of interior and exterior updates. The updated Hyundai Tucson is also expected to make its way to India sometime next year.
Hyundai has done a few tweaks to the Hyundai Tucson exterior. These changes include a redesigned grille with sharper integrated LED DRLs, revised LED headlights, updated bumpers, both front and rear, and revised LED tail lights.
The interior is where the majority of the changes have been made. The good part is that physical buttons for the HVAC controls have been brought back and the Tucson now gets a dual-screen setup featuring 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation. There’s a new steering wheel too, with the 4-dot Hyundai logo, as seen on the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
The current Hyundai Tucson already comes packed with a ton of features such as level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and ventilated and powered front seats, to name a few. The facelift adds a pair of connected screens and wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The US-spec Hyundai Tucson gets different powertrains than those offered in the Indian-spec Tucson, including hybrid powertrains. The India-bound Hyundai Tucson facelift is likely to retain the current powertrains, and is expected to launch sometime in 2025.
