The updated BMW 3 Series LWB was recently launched in India, bringing a few cosmetic and functional updates to the executive premium sedan. The carmaker has now introduced diesel variants to the model, which was only available in petrol up until now.
The 2025 BMW 3 Series diesel has been launched in India in two variants—M Sport and M Sport Pro—both priced at Rs 62 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi.
Surprisingly, the diesel variants of the 3 Series are cheaper than the petrol, by Rs 60,000, as the M Sport 330i is priced at Rs 62.6 lakh ex-showroom.
Like before, the new BMW 3 Series continues to come with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that puts out 190PS of power and 400Nm of torque. This engine channels power to the rear wheels only via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Speaking about the design changes, the front features a sophisticated kidney grille and adaptive LED headlights with cornering function. The rear is highlighted by a high-gloss black rear diffuser and aluminum exterior elements.
Speaking of the new features on offer, the updated 2025 BMW 3 Series LWB offers BMW Digital Key Plus, a surround view camera with remote access through the BMW mobile app, park assist with 3D view and the new BMW Driving Assistant.
