Nissan X-Trail, the Japanese automaker’s upcoming SUV in India, is scheduled to launch next month. Here are some details about the Nissan X-Trail.
The India-bound Nissan X-Trail will feature a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with a 12V mild-hybrid system. This engine generates 161bhp and 300Nm of torque. There will be no 4x4 on offer.
The Nissan X-Trail will feature a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree cameras, wireless smartphone charger, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch digital driver's display, dual-zone climate control, and more.
Nissan is set to launch the X-Trail in India on the 1st of August, 2024. The X-Trail will be offered with just one engine option, as stated in the previous slide.
Being a CBU offering, the Nissan X-Trail is expected to be priced upwards of Rs 40 Lakhs. The Nissan X-Trail will go against the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster, Volkswagen Tiguan and Hyundai Tucson.
Nissan currently has just one car on offer in India — Nissan Magnite. It will be joined by the X-Trail next month, with four more cars to be launched by 2026, including a facelifted Magnite.
