The new Maruti Suzuki Swift is offered with the new 1.2-litre Z12E engine and is currently one of the most popular hatchbacks in the Indian market. Offered with manual as well as automatic gearbox options, the new Swift is priced from Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The new Swift MT is claimed to deliver 24.8kmpl while the AMT versions are claimed to deliver 25.75kmpl. The Swift CNg mileage on the other hand is claimed to be 32.85km/kg.
While the Swift manual is claimed to deliver 24.8kmpl, the users report a real-life mileage of 21.3kmpl in multiple usage conditions.
The Swift automatic is said to be slightly more efficient than the manual versions but the Swift AMT users report a real-life mileage of 21kmpl.
The Swift CNG is the most affordable to run version out of the three and boasts a claimed mileage of over 32kmpl. It is however difficult to share a real-life mileage figure of the new Swift CNG as user-data of this version is not available. However, it will be save to expect a real-life mileage of around 27-29km/kg.
