2024 Kia EV9 specs revealed: Battery, range, power, and more

Kia is set to launch the EV9 in India on October 3rd, and it's going to be their top model in the electric lineup. It will feature a single battery option with a 99.8 kWh capacity. This battery will deliver a powerful output of 384.23ps and generate an impressive 700nm of torque. In terms of range, the EV9 will come with an ARAI-certified range of 561 km, giving drivers a solid driving distance on a full charge.

What to know about drivetrain, sprint, and charging time

This EV is going to come with an all-wheel drive, giving u better control in different conditions. It’ll go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds, so it’ll be pretty quick! For charging, it’ll support DC fast charging, allowing u to go from 10% to 80% battery in just 24 minutes, which is super convenient when ur in a hurry.

How many exterior colour options will be available?

The Kia EV9 will be available in just one variant. It will offer five colour choices: Snow White Pearl, Ocean Blue, Pebble Gray, Panthera Metal, and Aurora Black Pearl. With this variety of colours, you will have a good range to match your style when the EV9 arrives.

Dimensions: How tall and wide?

The model will have an overall length of 5,015 mm and a width of 1,980 mm. With roof rails added, the height will be 1,780 mm. It will feature a wheelbase of 3,100 mm.

Available interior features revealed

The EV9 will feature a modern interior with dual 12.3-inch HD screens for navigation and the instrument cluster, a 5-inch HVAC panel, a wireless charger, and heated and ventilated seats for both rows. It’ll have a dual sunroof, 20-inch sporty wheels, paddle shifters, drive and terrain modes, a smart power tailgate, six USB Type-C ports, and vehicle-to-load capabilities, among others.

What safety features will it include?

In terms of safety features, this EV will have a range of advanced options. It will come with 10 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and front, side, and rear parking sensors. You’ll also get downhill brake control, vehicle stability management, and electronic stability control. Additionally, the EV will include level 2 ADAS with 21 autonomous features, providing extensive driver assistance and safety.
