Kia has launched the updated Kia Carnival MPV in India after the previous generation was discontinued due to BS6 emission norms. Here are the top 5 things to know about the 2024 Kia Carnival.
The Carnival gets a single powertrain option in India — a 2.2-litre diesel engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission that produces 193PS of power and 441Nm of peak torque. The updated Carnival comes in a FWD configuration in India.
The new Carnival shares its design cues with Kia’s latest lineup of products. Compared to the previous-gen Carnival, it gets sleek LED headlights with arrow-shaped LED DRLs, a redesigned tiger nose kidney grille, reprofiled bumpers, and connected LED tail lights. It retains the iconic rear sliding doors.
2024 Kia Carnival key features include ventilated and powered second-row seats, powered rear sliding doors, a dual-pane sunroof, three-zone climate control, 12-speaker sound system, and a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup for infotainment & instrumentation. The Carnival also comes equipped with Level-2 ADAS functionalities and a digital rear-view mirror.
The new Kia Carnival is available in two variants — Limousine and Limousine Plus. The Limousine trim gets Navy and Misty Grey dual-tone interior while the Limousine Plus trim features a combination of Tuscan and Umber. Exterior colour options for both the trims include Fusion Black and Glacier White Pearl.
