Hyundai India has commenced bookings for the Alcazar facelift, its premium SUV, ahead of its scheduled launch on September 9, 2024. The updated model comes with a range of powertrain options across its variants.
The Hyundai Alcazar facelift will be offered in four trims — Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.
The Alcazar facelift will be available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
A 1.5-litre diesel engine will also be offered with the Alcazar facelift, generating 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is also available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Executive and Prestige trims of the Hyundai Alcazar will only come with a 7-seater configuration. Only a manual transmission option will be offered with both petrol and diesel engines.
The Platinum variant will feature a 6-seater option with petrol as well as a diesel powertrain, both paired with an automatic transmission. The 7-seater configuration, on the other hand, will come with both engine options, paired with either a manual or automatic transmission.
Only an automatic transmission will be offered in the Signature variant. You can get it as a 6-seater or a 7-seater with the powertrain options of a turbo-petrol and a diesel engine.
The updated 3-row family car in the premium SUV segment will continue to rival other SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra Scorpio N, Tata Safari, and Toyota Innova Crysta.
