The BYD eMax 7 is essentially a facelift version of the e6 MPV that first came as a commercial vehicle to India and was later offered to the passenger vehicle market as well. The eMax 7 brings a host of updates to the BYD e6, and is offered in two variants — Premium and Superior.
Premium — 55.4kWh battery – 163PS – 310Nm – 420km (NEDC range)
Superior — 71.8kWh battery – 204PS – 310Nm – 530km (NEDC range)
The eMax 7 certainly looks more appealing than the erstwhile e6 MPV, featuring a chrome front grille connecting the headlights, connected rear lights, a rear spoiler, and a shark fin antenna at the top. It is offered in four colour options — Cosmos Black, Crystal White, Harbour Grey, and Quartz Blue.
The eMax gets a dual-tone black and brown interior theme and comes equipped with features such as ventilated & powered front seats, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6 speakers, LED headlamps, LED rear lights, and more. Some of the standard safety features include 6 airbags, ESC, hill-hold control, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The 6 and 7 seater versions of the Premium variant are priced at Rs 26.90 lakh and Rs 27.50 lakh respectively. The 6 and 7 seater versions of the Superior variant are priced at Rs 29.30 lakh and Rs 29.90 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
